The Ghost Sheep is the ATC’s (American Theatre Company)resident improv troupe, which started performing together in September 2013.
Once upon a time, there was the American Theatre Company (yes, the British spelling of theatre, long story…). In 2007, Ryan Millar played the lead in their production of Accidental Death of an Anarchist and happened to mention that he did improvisation. That led to a series of improvisation workshops and formation of a loose group of improvisers who played some short form improv at the ATC’s annual Café Theatre.
The group eventually formed into The Ghost Sheep with founding members Kelly Agathos (Improbubble), Joanna Benn, Poppy Bullock, Simone Ellul, David Garrahy, Chris Nelisse, Dona Ursu, You can see the current flock here.
The explanation of the name The Ghost Sheep is a long story – buy one of the flock a beer or two and they’ll give you all the gory details.
We currently perform long- and short-form improv at the Warehouse Theatre in Schaarbeek. We can also be booked for shows; email: email@example.com for more info.
